Oceanarium is a small owner operator business. This enables us to control quality  every step from collection and care of the specimens to packing and transit. We are confident of our quality to the point that we guarantee live healthy arrival of all specimens. Unlike most of our competitors, we do offer a DOA policy. We ,indeed, encourage you to let us know of any problems you may have with any shipment, this helps us to constantly improve our quality.

We do not expect you to acquire all your specimens through Oceanarium. Many of the specimens available from Queensland collectors and importers (eg Blue Tangs) are not available for us to collect in WA. We do, however, have a diverse range of coral species and a small range of desirable fish species. You will also find some highly desirable specimens available from us that are not readily available anywhere else. We  gear ourselves for quality  rather than mass volumes.

We usually spend 6 months each year on the water collecting. In between our collection trips we have a more limited capacity to supply from our Perth holdings.

We are also specialists in Land Hermit crabs including spare shells, exquisite painted shells and other accessories.

You will find our pricing easy and clear. Purchasing interstate stock ourselves,  we realize how confusing it can be to understand your profit margin.

Purchase price + GST + Freight + Packing box + Consignment note + DOA's?  Your profit margin = confusion.

Our pricing is straight forward a single fee for each consignment regardless of size. $26.00 is applied to cover the consignment note. The purchase price offered on our stock lists is a all inclusive price landed at your major capital airport including GST, freight and packaging.  Minimum wholesale order value is $400 and you must be a registered aquarium business.

We can offer some bulk discount pricing for some species we have access to large numbers of ,to wholesalers of marines at very competitive pricing.  Some examples are:

	Pink shrimp goby Cryptocentrus obliquus Available September to April. Minimum order for discount 100+.
	Long horn cowfish Lactoria cornuta Minimum order for discount 50+.
	Janitor hermits Available year round. We only collect one small growing species a proven reef safe excellent janitor. Minimum order for discount 1000+
	Land hermit crabs Supply only available year round if you establish your custom prior to March for us to carry enough stock to supply you over the winter months. Minimum order for distributor discount 1000+. Special pricing always available for retail shops, email us for a current price list.
	Algae eating snails, minimum order for discount 1000+
Also available for bulk purchases are sea grasses, algae's and mangrove seed Oceanarium holds exclusive licenses to collect unlimited numbers of these.
