Helpful tips when ordering from Oceanarium.

A few little points to consider when placing orders with us....
  • Don't sit on your order waiting till the last minute before our cut of point for the week to see if some thing else comes in... "In order to book on freight and organize couriers, the cut off for all deliveries is 0600 hours AEST on Thursday morning prior to the weekend."
    Often when we check the emails for orders on Thursday morning the same piece has sold to multiple orders.... the piece goes to the customer who's order was the first in... Most weeks we also have strong sales Wed - Thursdays, the shops we wholesale to order to receive deliveries in the shop prior to the weekends' trading. It is best once you choose your order to email it to us straight away to avoid disappointment. If something else comes up later in the week that you want we are more than happy to add it to your order.
  • Often, while we are away collecting and new specimens are coming in daily, some of our savvy customers are asking for pics of bits they spy on our list and making a rolling order throughout the week.
  • Please pay for your order ASAP once you receive our quote so we can confirm the payment. Unfortunately, some in the past have abused our trust so it makes us have to be more prudent with new customers. If we can't confirm the payment it will NOT BE SENT until it is confirmed.
  • Emails are normally checked each morning, we are not on line for the rest of the day to answer your queries. Once our emails are answered for the day we are maintaining our fish rooms and conducting deliveries etc.
  • Sometimes we take off for a few days on collection trips to various parts of the state and may not be able to access our emails. Check the News page if you have not heard from us within a day. If we are away for any longer than a few days or over our delivery period our stock page is always modified so you can't order without knowing what we are up to and when we will be back.
