Anemone fish

Anemone fish live in symbiotic relation ship with host anemones, see the Anemone photo album for compatibility. They are hardy fish easy to care for, though you must take into account compatibility issues when introducing anemone fish to each other.

You can mix species of anemone fish together and house more than just one pair in a aquarium (multiple pairs or multiple single species). The fish must be introduced at a small size and all at the same time, avoid more aggressive species (Premnas biaculeatus, larger rubrocinctus etc). Success is not always guaranteed if any individuals are selected out by the others and picked on remove it or death is likely. Be very cautious if trying to introduce any new anemone fish when existing anemone fish have established themselves in your aquarium.
